You wouldn’t think there’d be much to a pair of 8 AM games on Saturday morning, but these were vital for Div. 1 teams to acquire their berth into the semifinals, on Sunday morning. Both Quebec and the Twin City Spinners handily assured their spots, leaving Toronto (Scarbarian Tigers) and the Alberta Northern Lights out of medal contention.

Division B closed out today, with Club 99 dominating the competition. They finished 5-0 in the tournament and had the three biggest single game point scores (74,75, and 78 points) and averaged a staggering 71 points per game. Defensively, they were no slouch either, forcing turnovers and tipping passes both days. Teams averaged only 29 points, per game, against the club. Congratulations to the team and their coaching/support staff on their Division 2 win.

BC will face Quebec in the morning. The two clubs have not yet met in the tournament, but a rested Quebec is undefeated in their two games played. BC lost only one game; on Friday afternoon to the Twin City Spinners.

You can find the full schedule for Sunday, with team names and updates here, but the gist looks like this.

8:00 AM – Div. 1 Semi-Finals
10:00 AM – Bronze Medal Game
12:00 PM – Gold Medal Game

Hope to see you all there!
